National Radio Electronics took its step of venturing into consumer electronics retailing in Kerala in 1969 when it was seen as a symbol of status, luxury, and riches. It was a daring leap to popularize consumer electronics in Kerala. And looking back to those times now, after more than five decades, NRE has singlehandedly changed the industry forever in Kerala.

It was not all bed of roses when we started operating from Manjeri, Malappuram. The goodwill and legacy we are so proud to enjoy now result from doing business the right way, based on ethics, and by putting our consumers at the center of everything.
